The Calendar
Last updated 2026-10-21
The Calendar is the quickest way to schedule. You see a week of time, drag across the hours you want, and say what plays.
Find your way around
- Showing at the top chooses what you are looking at: one screen, a group of screens, or a location.
- Use the Day, 3 days and Week buttons to zoom. On a computer it opens on the week; on a phone it opens on one day.
- Today and the arrows move through time.
- Colours tell you what each block is: Kids one-time, Kids repeating, Slides one-time, Slides repeating (when Slides is on for your church), Signage, and Module switch. A faint tint in the background shows which module is running at that hour.
- The times follow the site's time zone, which is shown above the calendar. It is flagged if it differs from your own.
Add something
- Drag across an empty time. The block snaps to 15 minutes. On a phone, tap an empty time (or press and hold, then drag). The + Add button works too.
- Choose what to add at the top of the panel: a Kids playlist, a Slides deck (if Slides is on for your church), a Signage playlist, or Switch module (change which module the screens run).
- Choose the playlist, then check the date, the From and Until times, and the days.
- Choose where it goes. A Signage playlist or module switch is aimed at screens or whole groups, and you can tick several, so one drag schedules many TVs. A Kids playlist or a Slides deck is aimed at locations. Slides decks can go to rooms tagged Slides, or tagged Kids while you have not tagged any room for Slides yet.
- Press the save button at the bottom.
Repeating
- Signage playlists and module switches always repeat every week on the days you choose.
- Kids playlists and Slides decks are This week only or Every week. Every week lets you build a rotation of playlists or decks, with an optional end date. See Kids module and Slides module.
Change or remove
- Move a block by dragging it. Resize it by dragging its top or bottom edge. Click a block to edit or delete it.
- A weekly rule that covers several days asks whether to change every day or only the one you moved.
- For a repeating Kids or Slides schedule you can skip or change a single date, or change the whole series. The Repeating schedules button lists every repeating schedule, Kids playlists and Slides decks in separate sections, where you can edit, delete, or manage skipped and changed dates.
- Blocks you are not allowed to change are shown locked, and say why when you hover on them.
Overlaps and priority
If two blocks cover the same time for the same screen, the calendar flags them and tells you which one wins.
- Signage and module rules: the higher priority wins; if they tie, the newest wins. Tick Add as higher priority than anything it overlaps when you want a one-off to win.
- Kids and Slides: a one-time schedule replaces a repeating one; otherwise the one that starts later takes over. Kids and Slides blocks do not compete with each other: a screen shows the module its module schedule says.
Copy week
Copy week (shown when Kids or Slides is on for your church) copies the one-time Kids and Slides schedules in the week you are looking at to next week, or across a range of weeks, at the same days and times. It does not copy weekly Signage slots, module switches or repeating Kids and Slides schedules, because those already repeat by themselves.
On your phone
The Calendar works on a phone: one day at a time, tap an empty time to open a simple form, and press and hold to drag. Add the dashboard to your home screen to open it like an app.
Not sure what a TV is doing right now? Set Showing to that screen, press Today, and look at the tinted band and the block at the current time.
